The Exorcist III

The third Exorcist movie is another one of those criminally underrated horror movies (Halloween III also comes to mind) and if you ask me, rivals the first one in overall awesomeness.  Sure there isn’t the crazy backstory involving all the weird going ons on set like the original but it is just as scary, but in a different way.  The first one draws its horror from what is happening to Reagan and to a certain degree the affects on her mother and Father Karras.  Exorcist III just gets down and dirty involving a series of …

I Sell the Dead

I can’t help but think of that Alice Cooper song I Love the Dead when I see this title.  This movie and Alice’s song really have nothing to do with each other (except the dead) but that’s just my nerdy brain at work.

I Sell the Dead went way to far under the radar for such a cool little movie.  I think it came out on DVD with little to no theatrical showing or even fanfare.  Which is a shame because this is an awesome one and done horror movie.  It doesn’t try to reinvent …

The Zombie Queen!

Say hello to the Zombie Queen!  She looks pretty serious.

This character was one of the first I ever drew for this series.  I really wanted to incorporate in some capacity the voodoo aspect of zombies, I just didn’t know how to get there at the time.  Like most of the characters in TLZ she has gone through numerous redesigns.  She is quite different for the story in terms of not only design but character as well.  I hope you like her (well we shall see about that) and her zombie horde.
