Denver ComicFest This Weekend!

It is time again for the annual Denver ComicFest!  I will be sitting in artist alley all weekend loaded to the brim with Creephouse Comics and Teenage Love Zombies goodies including books, prints, buttons and original art!  I will also be doing $10 pencil and ink commissions all weekend!  This event is always a good time and we get our comic on like nobodies business.

Denver ComicFest April 20-22

This is creeping up sooner than I realized!  I will be at Denver ComicFest  again this year.  I love this show and I always have a great time.  There will be a ton of wonderfully talented local artists and comic creators at the show as well.  I will have books for sale and will be doing commissions all weekend long so stop by and say hello when you come by!

Halloween Day 12: Tales From the Crypt

Tales from the Crypt, at least the TV show probably makes up a good majority of my earlier horror memories. I have very specific memories of sneaking to watch it on HBO after my father had sent us to bed so he could watch Elvira alone. WHat struck me as a child about it was of course the over the top violence but also the sense of humor about it. I had never seen something so violent and horrific played for laughs. The Basement…

I spent a good majority of my teenage life in one basement or another just hanging out or usually playing video games. Yup, Friday night was usually spent screaming at each other about who was playing “cheap” at Marvel Superheros or Mortal Kombat, staying up to all hours of the night to prove that fact to the offender.
